Brand Strategy
01/05Positioning, identity, and the narrative architecture that make cultural institutions feel inevitable rather than optional.
Cultural system engineering — brand, programming, and production for the institutions that shape how people gather.
OAK is a cultural strategy practice. We work where brand, communications, programming, and production meet — the place most agencies treat as someone else's problem.
Positioning, identity, and the narrative architecture that make cultural institutions feel inevitable rather than optional.
Press, digital, and audience-facing language for organisations whose work is difficult to summarise — and shouldn't be flattened.
Rights, partnerships, and the producing scaffolding that turns an idea into a touring show, an exhibition, or a season.
Curation, commissioning, and programme design for galleries, hotels, venues, and the cultural calendars they live inside.
Audiences, members, patrons. The long game: relationships that compound across seasons.
A full rebrand and communications system for the Istanbul International Improvisation Dance Festival — one of the city's most singular contemporary dance programmes, dedicated entirely to improvisation. OAK also co-produced one of the festival's signature productions, the kind of integration that happens when strategy, programming, and production sit at the same table.
The Bolshoi Theatre's first-ever performances in Istanbul, realised in partnership with ANO Cultural Center Art Seasons. OAK led the producing work behind the engagement — opening communication channels between institutions, structuring agreements, managing negotiations, and holding the procedural architecture that a multi-institutional cultural exchange of this scale requires.
A complete rebranding strategy for Zemin Berlin, paired with a suite of creative project concepts developed from the new brand platform — the programming architecture that gives an identity something to live inside beyond its launch year.
OAK is a cultural strategy practice based in Istanbul, working across theatre, music, visual art, hospitality, and publishing. It brings strategy, programming, identity, and production — disciplines most organisations treat as separate — into a single, integrated approach.
Partners and clients include the Istanbul International Improvisation Dance Festival, the Bolshoi Ballet, and Zemin Berlin.
If you run a cultural institution, a cultural programme, or the brand around one — we'd like to hear from you.
